The plot is based on DC Comics. The film is nothing more than a new version of Superman films. Jor-El, speaking to the Krypton Supreme Council, is trying to convey to him the terrible truth that the planet is about to be destroyed by an explosion of its own core. However, his words are ignored, and then Jor-El, in order to save his newborn son, Kal-El, puts the child into a spacecraft and sends him to the most suitable planet for life, which the Earth becomes.
Once on Earth, the child enters the family of Jonathan and Martha Kent, who give him the name Clark. Even as a child, the boy feels incredible strength in himself. Over the years, Clark becomes a journalist, makes friends, gains love, and thanks to his supernormal abilities saves lives. True, he still continues to feel like a stranger on Earth, and the guy is increasingly attending the thought of his mission. But soon everything falls into place.
