In anticipation of Bastille Day in Paris, a con man and pick pocketer from America, Michael Mason, is stealing a woman’s bag, unaware that it contains explosives. After he dropped his purse, it exploded and killed four people. Being caught by the CIA, Sean Briar, who was reprimanded for irresponsible behavior at work, Mason insists that he is not a terrorist and says that there was a mobile phone in her bag belonging to a woman named Zoe. The bomb was planted by a group of corrupt police officers led by Rafi Bertrand. All of them were members of the French special forces RAPID, who intend to commit a robbery of a national bank.
The criminals ordered Zoe to plant a bomb in the office of the French Nationalist Party, but, seeing the brigade of night cleaners, she did not want to kill the innocent and abandoned the plan. Girl's boyfriend Gene, one of the conspirators, allows her to escape, realizing that his accomplices are eliminating her. Briar promises Mason that if he helps him prevent the robbery, he will remove all charges against him. The two men begin a fruitful collaboration, starting with a search for a fugitive criminal, but they are attacked by gangsters armed to the teeth.
