We heard a lot of stories about people who changed the world with their amazing idea and inventions when we were growing up, both in school and outside of it. But then we didn't learn more about the important accomplishments of black inventors and the important things they made. People of African descent, like people of any other race or culture, have made important contributions to the growth and ease of life we enjoy today through their amazing innovations. So, in this video, we present to you a list of 100 inventions made by black people.

The list includes some inventions that represent advancements over existing technologies, for which, in many instances, patents were obtained. This is the primary criterion for their inclusion on the list.
