The fate of Robert McCall was not easy - he served in the special forces, having managed to perform a number of complex operations on duty, to visit hot spots and take part in hundreds of stressful tasks. After retiring from service, the man made a strong-willed decision - to leave cruelty, blood and danger in the past, enjoying a well-deserved rest and simple pleasures of civil life. However, the Universe loves to joke with promises containing the words "never" and "forever," so the hero becomes an involuntary witness to a situation that destroys his plans. An irrepressible desire for justice is a kind of professional deformation of McCall. When the hero sees how the bandits beat and throw a mysterious stranger into the back seat of a car, he cannot help but intervene in what is happening. The search begins for the unfortunate victim, quickly turning into a dangerous confrontation with Russian mafiosi and dishonest employees of the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States. Robert will have to break his own word not to touch the weapon and use it against new enemies, because there is simply no other way to help the girl and get out of the scaffold alive.
